In a world that needs to be reminded to honor our mothers, fathers and partners, it’s not surprising that we need an official day to celebrate women. But that concept should earn a frown per household, at least.
Ages ago, men decided to throw some pagan beliefs on pile, stir and poke them with a stick (that part could be from another story), and call it Christianity.
What they then conveniently left out was how – before that time – men worshipped goddesses.
What should amaze us today, is that we still collectively participate in the lie that men are worth more.
